Dr. Andrea Camas brings a wealth of nursing and anesthesia expertise to Indio Surgery Center. Originally from the Midwest, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in 2005 before moving to California, where she worked as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit for three years.
Dr. Camas completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) degree at Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia in 2010, followed by her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from California State University, Fullerton in 2015. She currently works full-time at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center, providing general and regional anesthesia across multiple settings.
Since joining ISC in 2017, Dr. Camas has provided skilled, gentle anesthesia care for pediatric dental patients. Certified in ACLS, PALS, and BLS, she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and maintains certification through the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Her nurturing approach helps children and parents feel calm and supported throughout their visit.
